Picked up the Atari Flashback Delux for my wife for Christmas. The kids and their cousins played it more over the break than the Xbox. This is proper. Also, River Raid!

Funny. Back around 1983, my mom became fixated on River Raid, and played it to the ending - if I recall right, it just stops calculating points. She took a pic of it, with a flash camera, which washed out the screen. I don’t recall playing much more than Frogger or Pitfall, never got into it - I was 6 that year.

There wasn’t much ROI for the time invested. A fun memory though, I can’t imagine my mom playing games today.

Oh man, I have River Raid on my 2600 and it is one of my favorites for sure.

Yes, I still play my early-production atari 2600.
